Well decided to take out all the necessary panels ready for the window fitter to fit my rear 1/4 light tomorrow afternoon and save them time and any damage to my panels etc..took out the panel just inside the boot that runs the lenght of (door 4 screws), then the panel above rear door(just pulls away with 4 clips)easy to remove......then pulled away the white panel that goes over the window under roof lining ..(about 4 or 5 clips) easy to remove....then removed the panel over the rear seatbelts upper fixing..pulled out the airbag sign clip then pulled the piece of completely (just clipped again) easy to remove....then undid 5 screws in the rear black panel and pulled it away..(fixed with clips also..easy to remove too..all the window is now exposed for the guy to undo the ten plastic nuts and remove the window..Then to refit new...
then i will put the reat back myself at my own speed and convenience ,knowing that nothing is broken or missed off..

Good plan, I don't trust other people working on my cars.

What happened to the window?

wow.. that was close. Better to have a smashed window than dented bodywork!

I remember on one of my old Mk2 Cav SRi 130's a cricket ball came flying through the air from the club opposite, smacked my windscreen and bounced straight off luckily missing the bodywork. They paid for a new windscreen, it was lucky I saw it happen.
