| I have seen on other sites they have fitted bass tubes behind the rear seats, very awkward to fit big subs in unless you want to lose the use of the 2 boot seats unfortunately. There was a guy on AOC who customised the side panel to house his sub and amp. HTH Roy | |

| i had an amp and sub in mine, but i had to take it out cos it was too impractical. have been thinking along the lines of grafting an enclosure with two 8" subs into the tailgate. what do youse all think???? | |

| i have a 15inch sub woofer and a kenwood amp to fit in mine... will attach the amp to the top of the sub box and run the wiring from front to back , but will make it quickly detachable so as i can remove it quickly to raise the third set of seats.. have done this in the sons Astra...really fst to remove and safely store wires away .. | |

| i found a slimline sub new out for cars with no space in the pannels 12" but its £400 . the other way is two small subs both in a houseing with an amp built in that would fit under the front seats £179 each and would need two to sound like a 12". so going the same route as above quick fit box and amp. | |

| its easy to do. the sub was just a case off making a ring to hold the sub and build a box around it. i spent about a month to make the two from start to finsh after work and weekend. | |

| I've recently joined this forum after asking about subs on another site. The best idea i got from others was to utilise the two side panels in the boot area which i thought was a good idea as i only intend to use 8" subs. I was just wondering if anyone had ever tried this or would know where to start as whatever i do would have to be easily removable as that is also your access for removing the rear light clusters. | |

| If you could, that would be great! I've only ever used mdf up to now but i've never needed to work with such a tight spot. | |
