is this the correct oil to use in my 2001 zaf 1.6 16v

as it on a vauxhall parts website, im guessing this is what the vauxhall dealers use, or should i use something better like castrol.

Also is 10w40 ok for the engine with 108k miles or whould i use something thicker?

sorry forgot to say, how many litres does the 1.6 take, will a 5 litre bottle be enough?

i use that fella and 5ltrs is plenty

1.6 needs 3.5 litres of oil including filter..10w 40 vaux oil is well suitable...
i used vaux 5w30 but mine is a turbo..

As sterl said m8 1.6 needs 3.5 ltrs and na 1.6 from 2001 uses 10w40 so your ok with that choice.
