Hi. My lovely Zafira was smashed in to by another person when it was parked up and had quite a bit of damage to the suspension on both sides as the impact forced the opposite wheel to hit the kerb and then the zafira mounted the pavement. I took some advice from a bodyshop where it was stored as to whether it was repairable and would it be worth it. Worked out rough costings of how much the vehicle repairs would be, the parts, the purchase price etc. Armed with this haggled with the insurance engineer and managed to buy it within my allowances. Come to repairing and the cost went up a bit more as parts came off showing hidden damage. To cut the story short - all repair work done. MOT passed. Car tracked as well. The wheel on the impact side doesn't sit level to the car and appears ever so slightly out. It is further in at the bottom as you're facing car from the front. Steering wheel also doesn't self centralise in the middle whilst driving. Regret buying it back now. How can I find out if there is any fault on the repair side if any? Or would it need 4 wheel alignment to sort?? Cheers.

Had the wishbone changed as it had a slight kink in it as well as track rod ball joint which had play in it. Got it tracked again. It was way out on both sides. Have taken it on motorway to Leicester and back and to Liverpool the day before and seems to drive fine. I still now and again get the feel that steering still feels ever so slightly off but will get tracking checked again in 2 weeks as part of original check. Only other thing I noticed was zafira tends to wander a bit when going at 70+ MPH but was a little windy and as it sits higher, that might be the cause. Any thoughts?? Thanks for all replies by the way!!
