Hello, my '09 120 diesel averages out to about 42-44 mpg and thats with a mix of motorway (80-85 mph) and town use, i am currently running a Green Tuning Box and this has made the car a lot more fun, it will happerley now pull from 1,000 rpm and pulls all the way to 4,500 rpm, before the tunning box I would get maybe 2-3 more mpg but the diferance is well worth it.

hi welcome,
my 120 gives me nothing less than 60-65 to the gallon on a long motorway run ( gainsborough to dover ) at about 70mph.
rick.

thanks rick45 that info is very useful mpg Icon_biggrin .im on the way to airvault in france on the 16th from manchester which is 686 miles and am looking forward to all that extra mileage a diesel will give me.my other car is a zafira 1.8 auto 53 reg(up for sale) which gives me between 300 to 350 miles per tank of petrol.so now i know i can hapilly cruise at around 70 mph and still get a good mileage.

Can the tuning box be used to gain better mpg rather than performance?

Also, is it hard wired or can you just plug it in?
