hi all iv had a oil leak on my gsi for a while & done a few bits to try & stop it but i have now been told its the oil level sensor on the front of the block just wondering if any 1 has ever had this problem & how they fixed all help will be helpful

I had this on my Vectra, we tried cleaning up the sensor and putting some gasket sealant around it but it leaked again after a few weeks. I'd price up a new sensor and make sure the block is clean before fitting it.

Thanks been told can just replace the rubber o-ring round the sensor via the sump bit of a pain as just done sump gasket but thanks for your advice

Well thats good if you can get a new O-ring cuts the cost down a bit

lucky i have a brother works for vauxhall prob getting hump tho cos always asking him to get me stuff lol
