PostSubject: is this coincidence or normal for all gsi's ?   Mon Aug 23, 2010 3:29 am

i was just reading this in an advert for a gsi for sale on pistonheads .....

"quote
and there is a very very small blip in the revs when idle and has done it since i can remember it has never bothered me and has never effected performance or anything else my cousin has just brought one of these and his does the same so must be a gsi thing , he changed the plugs to irridium plugs and its stopped ."

Mine does this sometimes, when idling maybe every 20 seconds or so it will just have a really tiny blip, barely noticeable but if your aware of it you can feel it .
Anyone know what this is and how to cure it please?
cheers
Dave
