| Has anybody put a sub in the boot of a zaffy yet? i want to when i get mine but i cant think how to do it with the 7 seats and the lack of boot space. any ideas peeps? | |

| i just took the panel off cut the back off chop bits out where the cup holder is fitted the top of a plant pot to fit the sub in then filled it with expanding foam then filled with filler just need to cover it now | |

| adam have you fixed the sub to the panel or the car just wondering because off the flex when subs working but looking very nice mate what you covering if with and dont use spray glue mate dont last long cheers | |

| while on topic what is the biggest wattage of speaker i could fit into my standard door cards, standard speakers ok but are a bit lame when you crank up the volume??? | |

| I've got hifonics in mine and first time I've used them and I must admit very nice just waiting for subs to turn up if I was you Richard get some components 5.5 I think they are with tweeters and crossovers and a nice small 2 channel amp and it will sound lovely it's not always about how many watts the speakers are | |

Its not so much the wattage you want to look at, it's the quality of the speaker. I've had high wattage but cheap speakers before and they haven't been any good (not much better than standard.) Best off sticking to big name brands. You really do get what you pay for when it comes to speakers. If you've got the funds i'd also get them wired to a seperate amp rather than wiring them through the existing cables back to the stereo. You'd be surprised as to how much sound quality you can lose through naff cables. | |
