Hey all, this looks like a very useful forum! my girlfriend recently got

hi mate, well first i noticed one of the rear doors didn't lock remotely, but after a bit of research managed to fix it. Then i noticed the check strap had broken loose on the other door, which i plan on trying to fix. Now it looks like the rear shocks need replacing, and being a bit of a newbie i didn't check them when buying. but hopefully i can replace them myself. Should probably get a haynes manual

welcome to the site, rear shocks are very easy to replace and only take a few mins

is it much the same process? i had a look behind the wheel and could see both bolts securing it.

Welcome to the crew dude.

changing rear shocks is easy all u need is 2 jacks and a socket set!!!!!!

loosen wheels then jack the car up completely remove wheels with ur second jack place it under the spring jack it up slightly loosen off shock then replace and same on other side........

Thanks for that, i've only got wheel ramps at the moment which i just use for servicing and the jack that came with the car. think i'll get a trolley jack then.
