| On my 56 plate zaf b, the bc button has no function, but if I hold in the settings button until I hear a beep the bc button then brings up a info screen with loads of stuff. I know that 1 of the pages is the volt meter for the battery as it has a V by the side of the figure and also a screen displaying engine temp, anyone else know what the other menus mean ? |

What are the additional options once the trip computer is enabled, does it show fuel consumption etc. |

First thing I did when I got my Zafiy Club home was have the Trip computer enabled (same time I had cruse control fitted and a full blue SMD conversion) Trip computer is very useful, Instant MPG, Average MPG, Average Speed, Miles left Fuel, Stop Watch, Engine Temp, Bulb Blown Warning and more.
Cost me £20 for the Teck2 from a great chap who will do it for folk round the country plus loads more. He’s not a member of this forum but if there’s interest I could invite him along.
Takes no more than 5 mins to Teck2 loads of things on your car, Trip, Auto Closure, Bulb warning etc. All in one sitting with him.

| love that blue light conversion, out of interest if you doun't mind me asking roughly how much would it cost me for the lot to be done, cc, smd teck2 etc etc? I think somthing like that is 1 off and makes youf zaf stand out, would have all that done no questions asked. |

| Adam AKA stampede will be joining the forum later this evening; he is a well known Tec2 SMD etc guru off other forums. Great chap who is highly respected for doing a top first class job at a very respective price. He also travels round the country top to bottom doing road trip weekends for groups wishing to have work done.
Give him a shout when he introduces himself later. He is only 3/4hr up the M1 from you Rusty |

| Well I had a play today and managed to show the menu on mine but tried on my dads 06 Zaf and he has the TID with the two clock buttons and it wouldn't work think thats what it's called. Would love to get this in my car I'm guessing it only works with the full display. |

| hi all,
i have a two line display in my zaf b life at the moment and am looking to change to a larger display so i can get the computer activated. my two line display at present has a grey plug. does it matter if a new display has a different colour plug as i am watching one on ebay at the moment. or am i better to change the head unit aswell?
regards

Trip only works on 3line BID, GID or CID screen. You can change screens but first they must be divorced from the donor car then pared with the new one. Also you MUST get the correct screen for the model variant of car, not a simple swop over. |
