PostSubject: Zafira handling   Sun Apr 18, 2010 2:39 am

I normally use to zaf to commute to and from work on my own, however with the weather today i decided to take it out for its 1st proper run, took my mam and dad and my 2 teenage daughters, so really 5 adults, ive never felt the bus handle so well, it seemed to stick to the road and it drove excellent, definetly a different bus than when its empty, i was concerned about 6 of us going to France in it, but not after today, has anyone else noticed this difference? I'm convinced i got better consumption as well, Very Happy today
Enjoy the weekend everyone

yes, it does handle better when loaded, feels smoother too, but acceleration is ofcourse compromised but not much. i think its probably the car being much lower to the ground. not sure about better fuel consumption though, in my experience consumption is very slightly higher when im loaded but barely noticable. but on 1.6 models consumption will be much noticeable because the engine tends to put more effort on acceleration.

never had any problems with mine. when we got it i thought it would be terrible on the road because of the height, but was pleasantly surprised when i drove it and found it handled like a go-cart!!!. top marks to vauxhall, they really got the chassis spot on with this one.....
