| Right ive had enough of my handbrake issue ive took the caliper of today wound the piston back in and then tried to adjust the handbrake and its still the same drivers side holds as it should but the passenger side grips but you can still turn the wheel with the wrench, the foot brakes work as they should too, the pads on the passenger side are about 10-12mm thick but the drivers side is about 5-7mm thick so could it be the drivers side causing the other side to play up with the pads having uneven wear anyone have any ideas its doing my head in | |

| when you have handbrake on and can still turn the wheel..apply pressure to the lever on the rear wheel that the hand barke cable clips in too..and see if it locks wheel..if not then its the lever mechanism faulty.. And double check that your handbrake cable runs in the right place and is clipped where nessesary.. also have you fitted the little clip at the wheel lever end that holds the cable outer sleeve in place? on that wheel... just a few thoughts.. | |
