| Just wondered if anyone has bought one new/recon and how much they paid? This is the next on the list for me and just want to find the cheapest, ive had a quote of 387 + vat and post for a recon unit. | |

| cant wait for my turbo to blow up ,shes got loads of life left in her yet tho,i can get them for about 550 ,withe all the gaskets and nuts and a clamp | |

one from a vauxhall spares place on ebay and the second from courtney sport ...the courtney one is fitted on sons astra gsi , been on about 15 months done about 6000 miles and not a problem.. and he does give it stick.. as do i when i drive his gsi ...goes like F**k... | |

| have fitted the turbo oil pressure reducing bolt to both vxr turbos..
still got the 2 gsi turbos too,, mine the seals went and sons the manifold cracked after a front end crash..laid up in my garage.. | |

| right found myself a turbo £300 only 100 miles of use and a genuine gm unit bought from regal, seems to be a resonable price. got to do some more traveling (chilwell in nottingham) to pick it up. | |

| bit gutted it wasnt for sale when i went and got me dads car, could have saved me £30-£40 in fuel | |

| well i picked it up today  found out its only done 5 miles (bonus) and got a spare damaged turbo too all at a great price. need to find some where for the gaskets now £30 ish from vaux but cant get them till friday (thats the manifold gasket, washer plate and oil feed pipe gasket) studs already been done. | |

| just picked up some bits and bobs for the fitting  just got to wait for the oil restrictor bolt to turn up now | |

| i have fitted 2 oil restrictor bolts, one in my zaf and one in sons astra gsi..in the video of how to fit a vxr turbo in the how to section that i added the guy fits the oil restrictor bolt too | |
