Hi all thinking of buying some 19" astra vxr alloys [235-35-19] for my gsi its on the standed suspension has anybody done this b4 & if so were there any clearence problems? thanks

i was informed that 235,s were too wide for zaf GSI arches,, thats why i only fitted 225,s not 235'son my new wheels which are 8j ...not 7.5 like the standard snowflakes..

no mate 235 and 225 will both catch, ive got 215 on mine and thay just clear the rear front are no problem.

215 x what? x 19 madgezza...?
fitting 19" wheels ,what over all circumference difference will that give you over the standard 17" with 225x45x17 Madgezza.. ?

there 215 35 19 mate, i had 225 35 19 on before and they cought on the rear trim.

i see as you have gone up by 2 inches 17" up to 19" and the tyres are only 20mm lower so your wheels stand 30mm taller, thats why they touch then..
so you would need archwork done to fit 225,s with 19" wheels..?

u could use bmw tyres which some of the m5 use 235/25y19 they might clear as the profile is the % of the width of the tyre so 235/35r19 the profile of 35 is the percentage of the 235 if u see what i mean so the 25's will most probs fit the just mega bucks!!!

not major work they just catch on the trim at the bottom of the rear door where it goes under the arch

Going 2 fetch the alloys 2morro got a nice 2 hour journey 2 get them
