| Well she started out life as a basic 1.6 comfort back in 2006 very similar to this: First things I did were tint the windows and then change the rear lights for some clear lexus type ones (I know I know) and fit a cheapo sports grille from ebay: Next up came some interior mods in the name of a Richbrook Gear knob, Handbrake Handle and some hand made grey alacantra gaiters for the gear and handbrake. I then booked it in at my local custom exhaust specialist for a catback stainless system: Then I sprayed and fitted a GSi spoiler and an Irmscher petrol cap cover: Next up came a little customization of the engine cover, some blue interior lighting andbonnet lifters: Fitted some Jamex 40mm lowering sports springs: Thought I'd check to see how much power the car had lost since it was new: Then I sprayed and fitted some eyebrows and blacked out the interior of the headlamps: Then a friend from londond sourced me some GSi half leather seats for the middle bench and rear 2 seats for a bargain price of £0: A little more engine bay dressing: Then after a little bit of saving I replaced the cheapo ebay grill with a nice steinmetz one: Some vauxhall centre caps to replace the wolfrace ones: And a sunglasses holder out of something that used to resemble someone's vauxhall: Some custom made steinmetz badges to replace the comfort badges in the door mouldings: Here is how she is at the moment, sorry for no rear shots but I don't have any up to date ones: And thats about it so far, although I have now since removed the rear lights and replaced them with 2003 facelift red and clear ones, removed the irmscher petrol cap cover and removed the eyebrows. My next plans for it are some new wheels although I have yet to find some that just make me go WOW, fit the full steinmetz bodykit I have boxed up in my attic which was a lucky buy from rossiters as it was the last one in the uk and the rear parts have now been discontinued by steinmetz. I am also going to be fitting some coilovers at some point, replace the front seats with something else ;-) and at some point in its future life change the engine for something a little faster although I am unsure of which route to take yet. Thanks for looking. | |

| They're not silicone they are a wrap around kit that just fits over your existing hoses. Nobody makes silicone kits for the 1.6 ecotec. | |

Definatly recommend them mate. They did the rear window all in one piece which a lot of people don't and it also comes with a lifetime warranty, not one bubble and they have been on the car now for 3 years. All in all they cost me £210, probably not the cheapest around but you pay for what you get in this game. I had light smoke on the front passenger windows and dark smoke from the b pillars backwards. | |
