please help my milage is displaying dashes !!!!

i own a 2000 zafira and i jumped in it this morning and the milage is displaying ------ the one above it is fine but the main milage display is just dashes could anyone help me figure out what the problem is many thanks rachel xx

try this, hold in the mileage reset then turn on the ignition the letter insp will appear for a couple of seconds then a line will appear then release milage button and turn off ignition. not 100% sure it will work but its worth a go.good luck
