goodday all, ITS the time off year for hoildays,we all ways stay in or around devon & cornwall, but this year we are going for big time SCOTLAND going to scotland for holidy Affraid the wife kids & the dog & me all in the bus,for about 10hr.Can you help by recommending some good places to stop. on the m6 .and places to go in scotland . going to scotland for holidy Icon_cheers

There's a half decent greasy spoon in gretna, they do a full scottish complete with haggis Very Happy

It was so good we went on the way back too!

take a day trip to anstruther in fife and get an award winning fish supper fae anstruther fish bar, trust me you'll thank me going to scotland for holidy Icon_wink

sorry only been to the west coast but if your over that way try Inverary, theres a pub near the front that only sells whiskeys - all whiskeys, not a pint in sight

try iverrary the george hotel best fish & chips in scotland,
dont go round to rick stiens place on loch fyne you'd need to win the lottery to buy a meal in that place.
