this came off my rear suspension....

the upper part of my right rear spring came off and i didnt even felt
it. i went over this small speed bump and after the rear wheels went
over it i heard something metal fell on the road (i was doing less than
5mph). i knew it came from my car because im the only one on the road at
the time but i wasnt expecting it be a part of the spring. i measured the gap between the arch and the wheel and there was about 10cm difference.


ok so ive probably overloaded my Zaffy but it had
much heavier loads before and nothing was broken. the strange thing was i didnt heard or felt anything snap. but i think im still lucky, i still manage to go home safely with such a load. if it had broken on the middle of the spring i wont be able to go home last night.

so now i have all the reason to buy the coilovers.

that my friend is pot holes had about 30 cars in at work all with snapped springs caused by pot holes..................

opps now you defo need some new springs.

at least you got home safe . and like you say its a good reason now lol.

its funny because thats the same reason how i got my new wheels, snow cause my back end to slide and swing and hit the pavement. im thinking of breaking my engine now so i can get a GSI one
