Remove Trim - 2008 plate

Can anybody tell me how I go about removing the inside trim around the tailgate area?
I need to check for wiring before I fix brakets for a tailgate dog guard

are you refering to the side panels under the rear side windows,behind the second row of seats ?

I have to fit a dog guard (thin mesh thingy) about an inch inside of the tail gate.

Each side: One bracket about six inches down from roof, the other six inches above floor

PS -- its the wife's bus so if I get it wrong I really am in trouble!!!

is it to protect the tail gate from damage , or just to keep the dogs in when you open the tail gate. is this item made to fit your zafira B or just universal?

Just looked at your post re dog gaurds and googled barjo.. and i see what you have to fit..

to remove these panels in the zaf A , i had to remove the plastic trim above door (held on by 4 metal push in clips)
pull off the white panels window surrounds that again are held on by metal clips (push in)
remove the door bottom trim (just inside door on floor ) 4 screws..
remove rear doorrubber draught excluders where it covers plastic panel that you want to remove..
there is 1 screw to undo inside the access panel to the rear lights
and 1 screw at rear of panel that is visible.
and 1 screw inside where the parcel shelf fits into(the square hole)
then 2 screws at top rear of panel inder hwere you removed the rear panel over the windows(white one)
then it is fitted with metal clips again
all the clips fit in olbong holes..

hope this helps give you some sort of idea

if you look through rear light covers that hold in the rear sections your on about you could probly see whats there with out removing them

me personally i would mark the holes and drill very slowly and just go one eighth of an inch deep...
dont think you will hit any wires going that deep i think all the wires are clipped tight to the metal body of the car if i recall

then pop rivit the unit..air bags areunder roof lining.....(
