| cool you should have 4 wires black to earth (-) red to 12v ignition orange and yellow to a + dash light terminal hope this helps | |

| sorry mate is black to earth (-) red to 12v ignition white and orange to a + dash light terminal and you dont use the green. as its just a spare wire if you try it on your car batt you will see what i mean red and back for the volt reading and white,orange and black for the light. | |

| i used the ciggy lighter to wire the volt meter too in the astra gsi... black to the earth wire to ciggy lighter and put all 4 other wires to the live to the ciggy lighter which is ignition controlled feed....the red is the live feed that moves needle one of the other wires light the needle and the other two operate the colour change backplate backlight... (connecting them up this way means the unit is lit any time the ignition is on..which really makes it stand out..) | |

| i see ,,,im going to fit my 2 gauges into a plate and fit it over the cup holders in the centre console...i have my boost/vac gauge there already... that is a seven colour back light..by autogauge..wired to the ciggy lighter too.. | |
