No power

Hi first on here wondering if anyone can help I've got a problem with my 2.0 dti 04 took it to stealers for tech 2 as I have no power, revs to about 1300 revs and dies but doesn't cut out and spanner light on, when I disconnect AFM revs to 2500 - 3000 then loses puf spanner light stays on. Told that EGR valve was dead too much gas getting in so I changed it then told AFM might be the problem so I changed that also (all new parts). But still only revs to 1300 untill I disconnect AFM spanner lght stays on all the time even so only revs to 2500 and its drinking fuel like theres no tomorrow. Anybody have ideas that might help getting fustrated now.

gone into limp mode get the fault code and i shall tell u whats wrong!!!

Going back into stealers on tuesday for Tech 2 freebie after complaining about all new parts fitted and still the same problem. How do you do the brake pedal thing ?

press both pedals down to the floor and turn ignition on until the lights come on but not start the engine...then on the mileage if you have an ecn number thats your fault code. only take u 5min it will flash count the number of flashes. so say if it was 1600 1 flash pause 6 flashes pause 10 flashes pause 10 flashes....... 10 flashes mean 0

Tryed that but it just shows as INSP then goes to odo reading.

u need to turn key to second position. did u do that

have alook at ur vacume piped goin onto ur turbo also check the waste gate.

were are they ? as this is the first diesel I've owned.

open the bonnet directly behind the radiator is the turbo check every pipe going in and going out the turbo.

turbo at back on diesel under windscreen.

every thing seems ok but could blocked don't know see what stealer says on Tuesday and I'll post fault codes. When it went in last time only fault code on sheet was fo egr valve so they say. typical stealer answer.

Well stealers did it again code of P0100 stored, MAF faulty (apparently only code present) they said pattern part is the problem so I've had to bit the bullet and by a orginal Bosch £311.26 robbing b*****d's if this doesn't cure it I'm going to demand a full refund on all parts ( which they have supplied ). Which now stands at £788.12 for egr valve and maf, don't think I'll by another vauxhall after this. But then again I said that after my astra coupe.

Job done no lights on dash for now that is pull's like a train, although I still think stealer's are robbing b*****d's.

Thanks for that see how long the light stays off this time. Going to Devon, Paighton on Saturday should be good test 225 miles to get there any one know the stealers name for that area just in case. lol

Well went on me jollies no prob's got 60 mpg cool, still smokes a little but it's a diesel.
