ok ,my jessie is nearly finished off ,when i get some more cash ,without the wife finding out its time to give it crazy power, i already run deristricted air box panel filter deristricted front pipe and 200 cell cat, do i have it remapped first or vxr turbo and injectors and a intercooler ,and does any body no what drive shafts you use when fitting a vxr lump with the 6 speed cheers

if your gonna fit a vxr engine and 6 speed box i wouldnt bother thinking about remapping or getting a vxr turbo..
and would that be a vxr astra or zaffy engine?

true ,ive been led to belive its a really straight forward job ,a change in the gear box mount and the vxr gear remote set up but i remember something about the driveshafts wont fit out hubs,its just and ideaat the no ,get an engine for 1500 max ,its going to cost that for some bolt on bits and a remap

you should be able to get a turbo,remap,injectors,intercoller and more for less than a replacement engine and you will have more power

if yours has low mileage mate i would stick with that and start spending lol. im just going vxr turbo then remap and thats it, already have precat, stainless all the way back, deresticted air box with coutenay filter, samco and courtenay hoses.

63k on the clock ,so its a lot less hassel ,might remove the balancs shafts,then at least i can play with the engine a bit lol,right get some cash ,buy the wife a hand bag ,then remap and turbo lol

it wont happen yet ive shelled out loads on it in the 1 ans half of owned it ,the wife WILL kill me ,its time for secret saving lol

get a fmic £400 then go to regal for £510 make it 330bhp proven already with the regal zafira thats what im doing anyway already got fmic and vxr turbo so 330bhp here i come..... lol

mine will get there one day got tons of mods todo before i get to that leavel . 330 does sound nice you can never have enough power. POWER Lol

id like to see that. stage 3 vxr's are only making 300-315

regal have proven it!!!! thats what they told me anyway. ive seen a 500bhp zafira gsi and it rips and that was with a buggered turbo its 620bhp now with nos and 590 (i think) without. ooo yeah that will do me lol and the last total vx rr meet there was another vxr thats at 356bhp and he got fmic stage 3.5 remap and full ss system

im not saying they cant get that power, but for that money i wish. i have spent alot more than that with regal to get that sort of power, trust me £510 and a fmic dont get you 330bhp

it ant making any bhp at the minute the engine s**t itself but hes building it to make even more power, awsome bus as you have said.
