| Here's mine: Simple to do really. 1. Remove lights from car (Duhh) 2. Empty oven and preheat to 100 degrees 3. Heat each light for about ten minutes 4. Carefully whilst wearing gloves prise the front clear plastic section off of the back section taking care not to drip any molten glue onto the reflectors. 5. Using a small phillips screwdriver remove the silver insert from the clear lens (2 screws one either side) 6. Rub down and prime, spray and laquer the insert whatever colour you want but don't forget to mask off the indicator lens as this protects the reflector inside which is non removable. 7. Wait for the insert to dry and the re-attach it inside the lens and then bung the light back in the oven to reheat the glue on the lens and back unit and then just press them back together. I had no problems doing the above but I have known others to use some black tigerseal or similar to help reaseal the lights so that you don't get any misting up. | |
