| You need the stalk and tech 2 doing to activate it should cost no more than £60 fromthe dealers. You must also have a clutch switch, if your car hasn't got it you can't have it done, all vxr have them but not sure about Sri, shame as I wanted doing on the missus bus as it was so good on the burg. | |

| Hi, I am wanting to do this too but can't see any switch fitted on the clutch pedal. Anyone know if this part can be retro-fitted? | |

| Thanks, is it easy to see if a switch is fitted? I can't bend my head round far enough to see to the top of the pedal but there is a mount at the furthest point of travel of the pedal that has a hole but nothing fitted in it. | |

someone off of ebay say i have to run some other wire aswell as fit a clutch switch, i have looked at the haynes manual for the zaf b and a clutch switch looks easy enough. does anyone know what this other wire might be? regards andromeda411

| Only Diesel Zafira and some VVT have the clutch switch, all will have the plug behind the steering Colum trim.
You will need: Cruse Control stork, your car ID/Security pass, Clutch Switch fitted and then Tec2 to get it working.
If you do not have the clutch switch you can have one retro fitted, but it will need wiring into an ignition live and a wire running into the engine bay then spliced into a wire on the ECU under the fuse box. Not a job for the faint hearted nor will a dealer do this for you.
Not all cars will show the Green Cruse Control light on the dash when activated, this is just pot luck your car supports this.

| i did a bit of research today and took off the dashboard of my zaf. behind there i found a spare brown plug( has space for 4 wires but only 2 being used) with a grey wire and a black wire going to it. is this for the clutch switch(which is not present) and if it is do i still need to un the wire to under the UEC or is it just install the switch plug in the lead and then of course the stalk and the tech 2.
regards
