hi all can any 1 tell me if i can fit a vxr turbo to my gsi zaf or do i have to change anything any help will do thanks karl

hi Karl welcome to VXZOC...yes the vrx turbo is a straight replacement..you will need to buy new studs and nuts , a gasket,and copper washers etc... you may be required to alter the actuator on the vxr turbo to 4 threads from bottom..but you can emailhttp://www.courtenaysport.co.uk and ask their advise regarding that.. myself i didnt alter mine and have found that it runs ok..also you might want to purchase an oil restrictor bolt to fit to the turbo before you fit it in the car..there is a link in the HOW TO,S section of the site that shows pic by pic fitting a vxr turbo and tells you what you require.. there is also a video link showing one being fitted from start to finish...hope this helps...feel free to ask more I myself have fitted 2 vxr turbos , 1 to my zaf gsi and 1 to my sons astra gsi..Sterl
