hi i was changing a fuse and pull out the central locking fuse by mistake i put it straight back in but now the central locking will not work, i phoned the local dealers and they told me that i would have to take it in to them to reset it at a cost of £40 is there any way i can reset it myself

hope someone can help

thats a bit steep does the car lock manually by using the key in the door mate

try taking the battery off and leaving for 10mins then but back on

did you blow the fuse when you took it out, or did you put it back in the same place.......
also i have moved this to the correct section.

the fuse didn't blow, i'll try disconnecting the battery tomorrow hopefully that works, i'll keep you posted
