| The zaff has been cutting out since i bought it a couple of weeks ago and it seemed to be random when it did it but i have noticed some things I first noticed that it liked to cut out at certain junctions on my usual route usualy at the end of the national speed limit roads hubby had a look and found a blocked breather pipe cleaned it out thinking this was our problem took it on a run and it was still cutting out but he noticed that if the car was reved fast it was more likely to cut out than if speed was built up slowly so with this in mind i have driven it for 2 days not taking it over 40 mph and it hasn't cut out at all so anyone got any idea's? we were going to start replacing sensors ICV TPS etc and see what happens | |

| ok there both cleaned and still cutting out but have also noticed it doesn't matter how fast the engine is reved it won't cut out only if the car reaches a certain speed round about 43 mph sometimes when it reaches this speed it can start to hesistate and chug a little not always and hesitate seems to be the wrong kind of word to use but i don't know how else to subscribe it and as soon as the clutch is pressed to changed gear or slow at junction it cuts out and you need to restart the engione and then alls well again till next time any help much appreciated! | |

| Have you done the Pedal Test to see if there are any codes in the ECU I believe there is a How2 guide on here. Sounds to me like a sticking throttle housing butterfly aswell as blocked breathers but could be a sensor causing the issue's aswell all guess work from me unforunately but 1st port of call would be to see if the car has any error codes present. | the cigarette lighter doesn't work so checked the fuse (36) and the fuse was missing bought a fuse and it would appear there is nothing behind it to hold it in place :s so i need to get behind the fusebox to have a look and see what the problem is it's a bummer cause i can't use my sat nav! | |

| i would check fuse F37 aswell as it used to be 36 but then was given a facelift and changed to F37. Fuse for ciggy lighter can be one of two fuse slots, depending on whether pre-face lift, or facelift.
Pre Facelift = F36 - 20A
Facelift = F37 - 10A | |
